The annual MOA Scholarship in partnership with Swedish science institutions is now open. Nine positions are available for master's level study in engineering and natural sciences. Applications close 30 April 2026.
NSTDA announces the cumulative results of Phase IV of the Government Science and Technology Scholarship programme. A total of 1,026 scholarships have been awarded under Phase IV (2018–2023), with 73 scholars now graduated.

After a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at MIT specialising in VLSI design, Dr. Kasem returned to NECTEC where he now leads a team of 12 engineers building Thailand's first domestically designed AI accelerator chip.
Dr. Phattaraporn's research into bio-based packaging for tropical fruits, developed during her Ph.D. at Wageningen, is now being applied to preserve Thai produce for export markets in Europe and Japan.
Dr. Nattaporn leads a research group developing enzyme-based solutions for Thai agriculture. Her work on soil microbiome engineering, started at Edinburgh, has now been licensed to two commercial Thai agricultural companies.
Dr. Worapong Thammasit (Ph.D., Imperial College London, 2016) has developed a paper-based microfluidic diagnostic strip costing under 20 baht per test, now being piloted across 12 rural health centres in Northern Thailand.
A team of three NSTDA scholarship alumni at NANOTEC has achieved a 24.1% efficiency rating for a perovskite solar cell prototype — a record for domestically produced cells — with potential applications in Thailand's solar energy expansion.
Dr. Apicha Rojanasak (M.Sc.–Ph.D., TU Delft, 2019) developed a thermal management algorithm for lithium-ion battery packs that has been adopted by a Thai EV startup, reducing battery degradation by 18% in pilot testing.
A mobile app developed by NSTDA alumni Dr. Siriporn Chantawong (Ph.D., ETH Zürich, 2017) uses deep learning to identify crop diseases from smartphone photos and has been integrated into the Ministry of Agriculture's digital advisory service.

OCSC officially opens applications for the Ph.D., M.Sc.–Ph.D., and Undergraduate–PhD scholarship tracks. Applicants may register via the OCSC online portal.

Government agencies may begin submitting nominations for the HR Development scholarship track for fiscal year 2027. Agencies should confirm their quota allocation with NSTDA before submitting nominations.
