The main student scholarship tracks (Ph.D., M.Sc.–Ph.D., and Undergraduate–PhD) open each September and close in November. The HR Development track opens in February–March. Exact dates are announced annually by OCSC. See our Application Calendar →
No — all Thai Government Science and Technology Scholarships require Thai citizenship throughout the scholarship. The programme is designed to develop Thai nationals for service in Thai public institutions. See the full Eligibility criteria →
We welcome enquiries from universities worldwide. We currently have 130+ scholars seeking M.Sc. and Ph.D. placements in priority S&T fields. Please email scholar@nstda.or.th with your institution's name, relevant programmes, and available start dates and we will be in touch.
Official scholarship regulations, application forms, and announcements are published in Thai on the OCSC website and at stscholar.nstda.or.th. We can provide guidance in English, but formal documents are Thai-language only.
The Ph.D. and M.Sc.–Ph.D. tracks each account for 40% of total scholarships — they are by far the largest tracks. The Undergraduate–PhD track represents 15%, and the M.Sc. (HR Development) track 5%. See the full Scholarships overview →
