History of the Government Science and Technology Scholarship Program

One of the most important science and technology policy addressing the problem of critical shortage of science and technology human resource is “accelerating continuous production and development of science and technology human resource by increasing allocations of scholarships, trainings, and research both in the country and abroad, the Ministry of Science and Technology has realized  the importance of the problem in human resource development to utilize science and technology in building the country’s capacity in competitiveness and long-term self-reliance”.  Therefore, the Government Science and Technology Scholar Program has been carried out to provide scholarships to study in high-demand disciplines abroad (US, UK, Japan, France, Demark, Sweden, Germany, Australia, Canada, Norway, and New Zealand).
